We now offer a mountain bike holiday with no mountains ! Suitable for novice mountain bike riders you cover 24-28 miles a day at a fairly gentle pace with plenty of Cafe & Cake stops !
We recently welcomed 10 female riders for a special tour of Suffolk Coastal Highlights. Visiting great places like Southwold, Aldeburgh and Woodbridge the group celebrated with a final night in a luxury Spa Hotel. We can offer bespoke rides to groups of 4 or more so if you fancy something different or quirky just ask and put us to the test.
We’ve got a great new holiday for 2016 that uses a wonderful off-road track to reach the Coast at Aldeburgh.

A few years ago several of our customers suggested we organise a longer holiday, perhaps 50 miles a day to offer a challenge to slightly more determined cyclists. Well we did just that, and now offer our Boudicca Challenge. This 200 mile (ride over 4 days), covers some of the most beautiful parts of Norfolk and Suffolk – with 95% on very quiet country lanes and byways.
Over the last 4 years over 100 riders have enjoyed this achievable challenge and now you can too ! Tackle it as part of the the fully supported group ride on June 18-21st OR… as a private holiday on your own dates. http://www.ukcyclingholidays.co.uk/boudicca-cycling-event.ph
Sanjay Gupta from Harpenden recently persuaded twelve friends and family to take on the famous London to Paris Cycle Challenge to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. With the support of UK Cycle Holidays the group left the London Eye on Thursday Aug 28th and successfully arrived under the Eiffel Tower by lunchtime on Aug 31st. The special 200 mile route researched in detail by UK Cycle Holidays mainly followed quiet rural lanes, cycle tracks and forest paths to arrive in Paris along the River Seine valley. Some photos below
Early morning start at The London Eye!
Another early morning roll-call with plenty of smiles. Our team gather at 8am after a refreshing Saturday night in a great 3 star hotel. Our intrepid Group are now ready for the final 35 mile assault into the heart of Paris; The Tower awaits !
More smiles as mission accomplished by lunchtime on Sunday!. All riders successfully complete the 200 mile challenge with virtually no hiccoughs over the 4 days apart from one puncture. A great achievement for our group considering many are not regular cyclists.
Who says you can’t park near the Eiffel Tower ! The support van was worth it’s weight in gold, on hand every day to dish out energy snacks & drinks, carry the luggage and spare bike and finally to bring all the equipment back home.
With so many great cycling holiday tales to tell we decided it was time to share our secrets.
We will only publish genuinely interesting, useful and amusing stories form our world of cycling adventures. Hopefully these will inspire you to spend more time on 2 wheels and less time on 4.
